Pietrasanta Tuscan Villa Close to Beach - Villa Versiliana

Designed by the renowned architect and painter Antonio Salvetti, in the last  century, Villa Versiliana is built out of stone and marble from the Apuane quarries.
It has recently been fully restored, in a manner faithful to the original design and materials.

The entry portico flanked  by antique columns leads to a series of vast rooms lined with  decorative boiseries, paved with worked marble and furnished with fine antiques. The result is an atmosphere of refinements and elegance.

The villa is surrounded by a large and absolutely tranquil garden. It houses a bed and breakfast consisting of six ample bedrooms that are beautifully decorated. Light streams into the bedrooms, each distinguished by a different colour-scheme, through big windows that look out onto the lush garden.

Some bedrooms have parquet floors and canopy beds. Each room is equipped with telephone, television and safe. The bathrooms are generously-sized and decorated with high quality materials and marble.

In summer months, breakfast is served on the ample terrace of the villa. Special attention is directed towards guests’ tastes and requirements. Cocktails are also served on the terrace, while basking in the soft colours of sunset.

Villa Versiliana is located in Le Focette, Marina di Pietrasanta a noted vacation resort on Tuscany’s splendid Versilia coast. The beach, a pleasant 200 meter walk from Villa Versiliana, has fine grained sand and well-equipped beach clubs. Other activities include walks in the nearby pine groves, golf at neighbouring Forte dei Marmi, and excursions to the local marble quarries and the green valleys of Apuane mountain.

During winter months, the climate is temperate and Villa Versiliana can serve as an ideal place from which to visit neighbouring cultural cities like Pisa, Lucca and Pietrasanta, or experience Viareggio’s extraordinary carnival.

Railway station Viareggio Centrale (5 km from there); Pisa airport (20 Km away) or Florence airport (90 km away).

The Villa has 6 bedrooms (5 double, 1 twin) + an apartment (it can be rented separately) with 3 further bedrooms, daily maid service, house manager assistance for all the week, breakfast included and cooking service (to be quoted on extra).
