Vela Villa is located in the happening village of Jose Ignacio, Punta del Este, just one block away from the hippest beach and the charming Parador La Huella - favorite hangout of the International and South American jet set during the summer high season… and, by the way, a terrific restaurant and bar!

Vela Villa is a two-story house surrounded by outdoor decks with comfy open-air livings (one of them under a large sailboat mainsail), Bose speakers, barbeque, a pool and Jacuzzi, a large terrace, and al fresco dining for 12 people under a lovely pergola.

Entering the property, there’s a reception hall and a guest toilet. After a short corridor, there is the heart of the house - an integrated space that comprises a cozy living room with fireplace, plasma TV with DirecTV, DVD, ipod docking station, a small library with architecture, art and design books, and a large table for daily dining, and floor to ceiling windows along both sides wide of the place that integrates the outdoor living spaces as well. A fully-equipped kitchen is next to the dining room.

The house can comfortably accommodate up to seven guests in its four bedrooms, plus other two at the playroom, if needed. On the upper level, there is a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, fireplace, plasma TV, air conditioning, and an ocean-view balcony; a large playroom with futons, plasma TV, air conditioning, private office, kitchenette, bathroom; and an ocean-view terrace that can be accessed both from the master suite and the playroom. Two bedrooms that share a bathroom are located at ground level, with ceiling fans and independent access to private decks.
