Italian Rental with Pool - Villa San Lorenzo

The Mugello hills form the backdrop to this attractive 18th century villa near Florence. The property consists of two houses both of which sit amidst a perfectly manicured garden of lawns, Mediterranean shrubs and flowers. It has undergone recent renewal skillfully blending traditional pieces with modern comforts to create a very pleasant atmosphere.The main villa is a two storied building accommodating 15 +1 guests. The entrance hall leads to the living room dominated by soft pastel colours.

The kitchen is particularly lovely, spacious, clean and light in cream with a small breakfast table. It is fully-equipped with all you could need for self-catering.

Two of the bedrooms can be found on this level, a double and a twin, both fitted with a bathroom with a shower. There is also another guest bathroom.

Upstairs are the remaining bedrooms, three doubles, two twins and a single, to which an extra bed can be added if required. These all have their own bathroom and are decorated in a simple classic style with charming Tuscan features like cotto flooring and wooden beamed ceilings.

The annex can host another 4+2 guests and is similar in design but on a smaller scale. The first floor houses a twin and a double bedroom both with bathrooms. There is a further pretty sitting room which has a double sofa bed. Conveniently there is also another bathroom on this floor too so none of the rooms have to share.

• The swimming pool lies in the middle in a panoramic position looking over fields of crops, dense forests and orchards. The pool comes accompanied with sun loungers and umbrellas so you can soak up this peaceful environment, get lost in a book or take a refreshing dip everything you need for relaxing holiday days.
• A paved area with table and chairs is perfect for your al fresco meals shaded by oak trees. You´ll also find a traditional wood burning oven for homemade pizza and a barbecue.
