Villa Pietrasanta is located on the northern Tuscan coast in the town of Pietrasanta, in Versilia region. This important town is known for its marble and bronze processing and has been a crossroads fro sculptors from around the world. Full of well cared for monuments and sculptures, the city center is a true city of art drawing many cultural performances and exhibitions in the summer season. Pietrasanta also draws a large number of international celebrities and VIPs that come to the area for their holiday.
The city center of Pietrasanta enjoys views of some brilliant Romanesque, Baroque and Gothic style cathedrals and clock towers and other fine examples of architecture as well as a public library for cutting-edge design. A blend of old and new. Also worthy of note is the Arrighina Rocchetta, which is located next to the arch of Port of Pisa.
On the square stand several buildings dating from the XVI century Colonna del Marzocco next to the fountain of the same name, Palazzo Panichi Carli and the monument of Leopoldo II, commonly known as Canapone. In Palazzo Moroni there is an archaeological museum where you will find many items dating back to the Etruscans. Pietrasanta also has a network of underground tunnels in addition to strategic defences such as walls, which are visible from the square and accessible via a path that ends at the Rocca di Sala. From here you can see from the plain of Versilia Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi and, on a clear day, you can see also some of the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago.
Just a few meters from all of this artistic splendour is PIETRASANTA VILLA (300 sq. m.), a historical villa dating back to the years of last century. From the living area there is a door that leads directly onto the terrace which is surrounded by more greenery and potted plants. The perfect place for al fresco dining.
On the first floor you will find the master bedroom with a private bathroom and another living area, which separates the upper bedrooms: 2 with double bed + 1 twin bedded. Each room has a private bathroom. Throughout the decor is appropriate to the style of the villa and lend a feeling of times gone by. The villa will not need air conditioning because the walls are very thick, therefore, not subject to absorb heat from the outside.
In 10 minutes you can reach the exclusive beach of Forte dei Marmi as well as many restaurants, nightclubs, designer stores like Armani, Gucci, Cavalli, Prada, etc. A welcome addition to your beach holiday. The fabulous area of the Cinque Terra can be reached in only 30 minutes by highway or by sea from the port of Viareggio. Pisa airport is 35 Km away, Florence is 90 Km away.
