This Villa is located on an estate which is the summer retreat of a noble family that has a long lasting bond with Salento and its land. The property is surrounded by a lush vegetation and it's located in a favourable position some 800 meters away from the sea. The estate is a conversion of the original farming complex, built in the 1700's, which economy was based on beet, olive trees and cattle breeding. The owners transformed the central building into a comfortable, refined and welcoming summer house but they preserved the original structure and the large farm yard. Later on they restructured the remaining buildings and transformed the warehouses, barns and workers housing into guest quarters. The aim of the renovation was to create a little village where each unit is independent and completely surrounded by the vegetation.
