Near Lucca, Tuscany, in the special valley of Vorno, is a small paradise called Villa Il Boschetto. The ancient luxury villa, originally used partially as a mill for the family and the few inhabitants of the village and part as a farmhouse, has been beautifully restored to be rent.
The villa has no architectural pretences, is of simple lines, and the materials used in construction are those of the time: stones, hand-made bricks, timber beamed ceilings, terracotta floors. As was customary, the ground floor was used as house for the animals and the farm workers slept upstairs.
