Villa Gia is a composite of three separately roofed buildings intertwined with unusual wooden staircases. It is comprised of four ample air-conditioned bedrooms, a lounge, a dining room, and a modern kitchen bracketing the sides of the enormous living room. There is also a Jacuzzi and a swimming pool. Traditional Balinese fabrics adorn the villa, as do many Balinese artifacts, including numerous pabuan (boxes traditionally used to contain the different components of temple offerings.) On entering the house one arrives in the main living area, open on three sides and overlooking the garden, with a back wall providing privacy. The room is decorated with a strong mélange of ethnic Balinese and modern furnishings. Overflowing into the swimming pool, the Jacuzzi tub serves as the focal point of the room.
