Throughout the property, which is light and airy, thick stone walls are set off by colourful antique pieces, rugs and kilims, ornate frames and hangings, French style Ottoman period furniture and hand carved furniture collected from distant regions in Turkey, this house immediately gives a feel for the past whilst offering modern day comforts.

Villa Gamzi stands within it’s own walled grounds and the splendid swimming pool (9 x 4.5 metres with a constant depth of 1.55 metres) with poolside sun terraces is surrounded by potted plants, mature trees, and trailing jasmine, it’s a great spot for barbecues and al fresco dining. The garden terraces extending from the poolside provide lots of shady little places to sit, read a book, or simply enjoy the views.
