Located in the magnificent setting of a secular green park and an Italian style garden, the Villa is the most ancient building on the estate of a Resort. In ‘La Villa’ there are elegant and spacious rooms (3 Suites, 3 Junior Suites and 6 Deluxe) each decorated with original 18th century frescoes, antique furniture and Murano glass lamps, which give a real touch of class. Bathrooms with Jacuzzis and high-quality marble complete the luxury rooms of the Villa. The territory where Villa Duchessa rises is called Pian di Ripoli, 15 minutes from downtown Florence, the area, characterized by very rich soils, was considered the Florence’s fruit garden. Here the friars Vallombrosani had their holdings and the Accademia of Georgofili had some experimental gardens. The first territory maps were drawned by Leonardo da Vinci.
