Villa Carla lies in the hills surrounding Lucca, towards the famous Versilia coast. The area is characterised by wide expanses of olive groves and is well-known for the presence of nearby Farneta Abbey, situated in a secluded and peaceful spot not far from the villa. The surrounding property is part garden, part olive trees, cypress grove and part woods. The enclosed garden has ancient trees and delightful Mediterranean plants, a 6x12 mt. swimming-pool for guests' exclusive use, and various spacious well-equipped areas for relaxation and for romantic candlelight dinners.The property lies 6 kms from the old town centre of Lucca, one of the cities which best represents traditional Tuscan culture.
