The Villa is a wonderful private estate, extending to 25 hectares, based around a substantial masseria of approximately 2000 m2. Most of the buildings date back to the 17th century. There are some ruins found on the estate, including traces of ancient settlements. Once a fortified farm, the Masseria has been restored to an exceptional standard. Across the property, there are numerous reception rooms, 14 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms (13 en suite). The internal accommodation is only half the story however; the wonderful gardens contain beautiful terraces, patios and courtyards dispersed with orange and tangerine trees. The grounds of the estate continue to be a farm with the 2000 olive trees. The Masseria is situated 4 km from Ostuni, and its boundaries stretch to approximately 1 km from the sea. Ostuni, known as the White City, is one of the jewels of the region of Puglia (Apulia).
