The property, a grand mansion built in the XIV century, is one of the most sumptuous private residences in Tuscany. Built on a hill of olive trees and vineyard overlooking the Arezzo valley, next to a number of medieval villages, the villa has retained its original architectural beauty and grandeur; it was tastefully renovated in 1980. The villa has maintained its ancient splendour, personally supervised by the owner, a world famous wine tycoon. The refined furniture, the comforts, the romantic swimming pool with a stunning view and the setting make this mansion the ideal spot for a prestigious experience, not far from Chianti and Casentino, its castles and the monasteries of Verna and Camaldoli.

All the rooms are decorated with antique furniture, paintings and Persian carpets. It's truly special atmosphere while enjoying the enchanting Italian garden, the beautiful park, the numerous bedrooms and the large swimming pool. The present farmhouse settlement is on the ancient trade route which departed from the Adriatic coast, passed through the entire valley, climbed over the hills of this area and ended in Arezzo. This valley was under the feudal control of several important families of Arezzo. Along this route, which ends just below the city walls, the watch towers and toll gates are still visible today, demonstrating its strategic value and importance for trade. The first document proving the existence of vineyards on the property is dated 1416, when the proprietor sold a vineyard to finance the painting of the frescoes in the family Chapel by Piero della Francesca.
