This sunny, 18th century country estate is located at the heart of Baroque Sicily, and was expertly renovated. It is surrounded by the typical local carob plants, fields of grain, ancient olive, citrus and almond trees and wonderfully scented jasmine. The Sicilian estate with Arab influences consists of a residential building and an adjacent watchtower. The residential rooms are very spacious, decorated in very comfortable country house style.
Guests who prefer the beach can drive to the clear blue sea at Vendicari, 16 km away; and those who prefer a leisurely stroll are best off in the wealthy town of Modica, situated on a hill in the southwest of the island. The town of Modica dates back to various colonisation attempts by the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Normans and Arabs.
