Sant Bartomeu is a tastefully restored historic farmhouse and fortified rectory located in the heart of rolling countryside between Girona, Figueres and the exquisite medieval village of Besalu.
Set at the top of a hill, it offers both privacy and wonderful views of the surrounding mountain ranges and countryside.
Restoration work began in 2002 and the owners have endeavoured to use traditional building materials in sympathy with the original architecture, but incorporating modern facilities in the interior to provide the highest standards of easy living and comfort.
There are three sections to the cluster of buildings.
