In the deep natural harbour of Mandalya Bay lies the traditional fishing village of Bogaziçi and the delightful Pink Flamingo villa.
Pink Flamingo is a very smart house, set directly on the sea and with its own seafront and jetty. Throughout it has been exquisitely and thoughtfully put together, classic French style painted furniture combined with ornate oriental pieces and English style soft furnishings mix seamlessly with traditional Turkish and Anatolian pieces. There is a great library inviting you to do nothing more than read a book! The bathrooms are truly sumptuous, top to bottom white marble reminiscent of a traditional yet luxurious Turkish bath and all supplied with fluffy towels and robes. In this property comfort is paramount.
But it is the exterior that will delight you most, whilst the main terrace offers a huge dining table - this is the perfect place to enjoy al fresco lunches and dinners - there are numerous corners all given over to the art of relaxation. There’s the shady cabana at the end of the mosaic tiled swimming pool (12m x 5m with a constant depth of 1.5 metres) there’s the cushioned corner overlooking the sea and near enough the children’s pool for supervision, there’s the fantastically comfortable daybed strewn with organza on the first floor terrace and there’s a cushion strewn upper terrace with great views, whilst down at the sea there’s the dappled shade of the pergola at the end of the jetty.
