At the centre of the Cyclades, in the middle of the Archipelago this cosmopolitan island of Paros has its roots in the very distant past. A place where myth, history and culture converge, rich in traditions and natural beauty combined with modern tourist infrastructures. Low relief, (the highest point is marked by Mount Prophet Ilias (766 m)), leveling out into gentle rolling hills, sloping smoothly down to the coast. Dazzling-white animated villages, landscapes, churches, windmills, beaches, picturesque small ports, cobbled roads and narrow alleys, archaeological remains testifying the passage of many centuries.
Villa Naira is basically the absolute balance in the environment, a pleasing combination of elements in a whole, is located in Ageria of Paros overlooking the island of Antiparos combining unique modernity with absolute care of the nature, surroundings and their balance.
The initial design planned for two separate villas one next to each other unified by the swimming pool but during construction the idea changed and it evolved into one big villa, basically without changing the initial plans only by adding a long corridor with windows all along it, which becomes now the highlight of the interior as it is the best spot to lie, relax and read in the long couches.
The rooms were designed to express the feeling of a private residence, comfortable and remarkable from the inside as well as the outside. The setting of the building allows the stylish creation of a long terrace spreading across the whole interior space with pergolas and a private swimming pool which epitomize the outdoor area and its facilities..All bedrooms(five in total) of the house are located on the same floor with their private bathrooms.
The modern approach in design and the fresh touch of room decoration emphasize the signature of the architect’s philosophy. The large solid Parian marble dining table has its own history and so has the huge Venetian Murano chandelier that is hanging over it. Diner becomes a ritual.
