St. George Caribbean 12 Bedroom Villa - Mount Hartman Bay Estate

Set on its own private peninsula, the Mount Hartman Bay Estate looks across the water to the Mount Hartman Nature Reserve, home of the protected Grenada Dove. The bay itself is guarded by coral reefs and is one of the most beautiful and sheltered in the Caribbean.

From the moment you arrive, you'll be made to feel at home. The main house of the estate merges into the hillside, and with a grass covered roof and internal waterfalls, has been dubbed the Cave House by the locals. Others see the influence of Gaudi in the design or of the Hobbit House or Tracey Island from the Thunderbirds. The Beach House is located on the waterfront overlooking the private jetty and helipad.

With eight suites in the Main House and four suites in the Beach House, the Estate can accommodate up to 22 guests. The Beach House is also available separately on a self-catering basis with linen, full housekeeping service and gardeners, but without the other facilities of the Estate.

A four-bedroom Beach House villa is set on a beachfront peninsula guarded by coral reefs and forms part of the larger Mount Hartman Bay Estate one of the single-most distinctive properties in the Caribbean.

Just a small portion of the Beach House, the front veranda and alfresco dining area that sits directly on the beach, peeks out from the surrounding trees. From there, the villa extends back and takes advantage of the privacy afforded by lush gardens with windows and shuttered doors that fully open up its living areas on one side. A private pool hugs the villa's wall here and lets you jump in from several different spots.

The villa's designers used natural materials throughout the home to create a comfortable and relaxing ambiance. Wood and stone details are prominent, including the thick wooden posts that form its tropical beachfront deck. Here, you can enjoy a shaded breakfast with views of the local nature reserve.

For its unique architectural style and setting, Mount Hartman Bay Estate, including the Beach House, was featured on "The World's Most Extreme Homes."

Mount Hartman Bay Estate Beach House can be rented alongside the main villa, with 8 suites, for a total of 22 guests. However, the Beach House has its own entrance, pool, section of beach and there is enough staff to serve both properties comprehensively. Guests' privacy is assured.
