Many of the original features of this villa still survive - original fireplaces, vaulted and beamed ceilings, pergola with garden, and exposed stone walls inside - amidst the palms and exotic vegetation evocative of Sicily. The original rustic nature is perfectly preserved in this mellow old villa, with all the modern day amenities added for comfort. The property is actually made up of two independent apartments: “Tarocco” and “Tangerine” and can thus sleep up to thirteen. On special request, larger groups of up to twenty guests may be accommodated with the use of a third apartment known as “Navellino". “Masseria di Scordia” is twenty miles east of Catania, just thirty minutes away by car. Thanks to its location, it is the ideal venue for combining absolute relaxation with unforgettable trips to Sicily’s wealth of cultural and natural attractions.
