During the restoration of the 300-year-old palace, a manuscript, written by the 16-year-old Yela on the eve of her wedding, was discovered in a hidden room. Yela’s passionate love story has been engraved into each of the silver doors throughout the ryiad by a renowned Koranic calligrapher. Over 100 local artisans helped restore this extraordinary home to its former glory, following age-old traditional techniques. AnaYela is now a secret we can all share!
