Mango Bay is set in spectacular tropical gardens on a secluded beach in St. James. An outstanding example of Oliver Messel's genius, the villa has been described as one of the most beautiful villas in Barbados. Built of coral stone with a fountain at its main entrance, the villa has recently been restored.
Tastefully furnished, the villa features an open play layout designed to take advantage of the lovely views of the Caribbean Sea. The lovely formal living room flows onto a gracious patio, inviting guests to linger over breathtaking garden and sea views.
A second sitting room opens onto an uncovered terrace with lounge chairs and wrought iron table seating eight and paths lead to the beach and sea. Paths lead to a charming dining pagoda by the sea with a picturesque lily pond. Guests can dine in comfort and elegant style in the dining pavilion, as well, which has a large carved coral stone table that can seat up to 14 and overlooks the villa's swimming pool.
