Villa Le Cave takes its name from three small tufa quarries – of which there are many on this island – that lie within ahuge (about 1.5 hectare) Meditetrranean rock garden full of palms, olive trees and cacti.
There are few villas on Favignana as elegantly constructed and tastefully furnished as this one. It consists of two separate buildings, one with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the other with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen.
The two buildings are connected by two large covered and furnished patios, from which there are views of the incredibile crystal-clear sea, and of sunsets behind the island’s castle-topped mountain. The villa lies a ten-minute walk from Cala Rossa, whose waters are considered among the most beautiful on the island.
