Selimiye is our favourite new location, for those who enjoy getting away from it all this peaceful village by the sea is perfection. The enclosed bay is surrounded by high hills giving the sea a "fjord" like quality, it is volcanic and therefore there are no sandy beaches just deep blue clear water. As with many of the best places it's the sailing fraternity who have discovered it and this brings its own advantages in the form of a great selection of sea side restaurants. The village is described in more detail in the "About Datca & Selimiye" pages.
Villa Leyla is a large stone built house just steps from the sea front. The simple and charming Swedish décor style totally enhances the solid and rustic Turkish building. There can be no better showcase for the palette of Swedish blues and aquamarines than the white painted stone walls, the high vaulted ceilings made of simple pale blonde wood and the cool beige travertine floors. It’s a spacious, airey house perfect for a family or group of friends.
