The hacienda, which was built at the turn of the century, is named after the local towns famous poet Rodrigo Caro and retains its original character and old world colonial charm. A large country kitchen with table and benches forms the heart of the hacienda and is a welcoming sight to any aspiring chef. At first floor level a long galleried hallway/sitting area leads to the various bedrooms and has a door to the terrace overlooking the garden from which the views are delightful.
