The home is made up of 3 separate, yet interconnected wings: the Grand Lodge, Chalet, and Coach House.  This Ski-in/Ski-out estate has 10 bedrooms and multiple "flex" sleeping areas, taking the maximum capacity to 35.  With 10 full bathrooms, 2 half baths, 3 full kitchens, 1 kitchenette, 2 elevators and much more, this home offers maximum comfort and flexibility to our guests.

An aged patina graces every surface - from the heated stone and wood floors, to the collection of antiques, to the hand painted authentic tee-pee that houses a Queen bed.  All with modern conveniences carefully hidden away, but readily available to make guests comfortable.

The favorite of many guests is the "Hot Springs".  As the story goes, late in the 19th century the healing waters of a hot springs was discovered and enclosed in what looks like an old mine shaft.  The large main tub can accommodate several guests at once, and the deeper massage tube provides an individual experience with powerful jets that relieve all the day's stress.  Huge doors open to the outside air and view of the San Sophia range and a spectacular night sky.

There's also a world-class theater with a 240" screen, Runco projector and 7 powerful amplifiers dedicated to each individual surround sound speaker.  Well beyond a typical home theater system.

Castlewood consists of 3 separate, yet interconnected wings: The Grand Lodge, The Chalet and The Coach House. Details as to sleeping arrangements can be provided upon request.  The bedrooms are a mix of King Suites, Queen Suites and some Full and Twin options as well.

Grand Lodge:

• Crystal Stateroom - 2 floor master suite with 1.5 baths, King bed in loft, Queen mattress in front of the wood-burning fireplace on the first floor.  Private deck with hot tub.
• Caroline's - King Suite, full bath with wooden tub and steam shower.  Private balcony.
• Conestoga - Queen and Full beds, full bath with copper tub and steam shower.  Private balcony.
• Sacagawea - Queen bed in an authentic, hand-painted tee pee.  Children's loft with King mattress, toys.  Full bath with wooden tub and steam shower.  Private balcony.
• Meritage Canyon - Queen bed and kitchenette adjacent to full bath, Silver Mine Theater.

Chalet:

• Uncompahgre - King Suite with full bath.  Direct access to outdoors and ski-in/out.
• Banff - King Suite with full bath.  Direct access to outdoors and ski-in/out.
• Grand Teton - 2 Full beds, full bath with steam shower.

Coach House:

• Aspen - Queen bed with shared full bath with wooden tub/shower.
• Redwood - 2 Queen beds adjacent to shared bath, living area, full kitchen.  Private balcony.

Children are captivated with the Tee Pee room, the Theater, the Hot Springs and all the adventure the estate and the surrounding area offer.  There are some infant, toddler items available - crib, high chair, etc.
