The closest beach is only 12.5 miles away at Giannella, slightly further afield is Feniglia beach with pine woodland suitable for mountain biking, and sand dunes to explore. Boat hire is also easily arranged along the coast. There are various hidden Etruscan villages to explore within day trip range including Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana, Montemerano, Tuscania and Tarquinia, Grosseto and Siena also. There are several archeological sites and nartural parks close by including the parks at Uccellina, Vulci and sites at Cosa, Roselle and the baths of Saturnia.
