The original structure of Borgo San Cono, a typical aristocratic country home, dates back to the 17th century. Additional wings were added over the centuries to make the home larger and more comfortable, while maintaining its features as a fortified stronghold dominating the vast surrounding estate of around 50 hectares planted with citrus and olive trees.
The extensive grounds contain plenty of surprises, from the magnificent vegetation to the ruins of an ancient Byzantine convent, There is also an ancient farm building, the sheepcote, where ricotta and cheese are still produced today, as well as plenty of corners where you can relax and enjoy a magnificent sea view over the Aeolian Islands and the explosion of colours of the luxuriant nature that the estate is blessed with.
In the grounds, near the house, is a magnificent swimming pool (12 x 6 m) that rests on a large panoramic terrace, which is elegantly furnished and enhanced by two shady gazebos.
