As you climb the track from the village of Gökçebel, one of the most striking views is that of a lush green garden with huge Cyprus trees and vivid purple bougainvillaea reaching into the upper branches. Behind the high walls, set in 1.5 acres of land lies an imposing, stone built, twin property. Unusually, the owners have built two identical detached houses on the land with one being kept for their own occasional use. It's a wonderfully peaceful area and an ideal choice for those who enjoy being in the country side yet within easy reach of a town with plenty of restaurants.
The gardens are immaculate, the dining terrace, to one side of the house, is bordered by fragrant rosemary hedges and lavender, steps down bring you to the superb pool (12 x 6 metres, constant depth 1.65 metres) surrounded by sun terraces with comfortable sun beds, large sun shades and a cushioned seating area.
