This charming 17th century farmhouse, recently converted into a private ski chalet boasts an excellent location in a small hamlet just next to the world famous Val d'isère and Tignes ski resorts, only a few km away from their respective ski lifts. In this sense you have the best of both worlds, the convenience of a major ski area but without the crowds on your doorstep.

Chalet du Lac has a warm and welcoming atmosphere which will make you feel at home as soon as you set foot inside.

The living-dining room is a splendid space, very attractive with its exposed stone walls, dark wooden beams and cozy fireplace, the perfect place to relax in the evening after a day in the mountains.

The dining table can comfortably seat 14-16 and the kitchen is fully-equipped with modern appliances and self-catering for a large group. There is a large oven, 5 gas hob rings, a good-size fridge-freezer and plenty of pots and pans, crockery etc.

The bedrooms continue in the same rustic chalet style with wooden furnishings and panelling.

There are six bedrooms in total as well as an open mezzanine above the living room.

• One has a set of bunk beds.

There is also the possibility of adding extra beds or cots. There are three bathrooms and another separate WC.

The chalet is ideal for children as there´s no traffic to worry about and a large garden to play out in, something you wouldn´t find in a chalet in the heart of the resort.
