Activities / What to do there?
- Among the most renowned are those at Amboise, Blois, Azay-le-Rideaux and Chenonceaux - a visit to the Loire region would be incomplete without seeing these splendid properties.
- The nearby town of Château-Renault has a weekly farmers' market, banks, pharmacy, supermarkets and a cinema.
- The town was founded on the leather industry: you can visit the tannery museum and also the local château, which was built in 1150 by the Comte de Blois Thibaut V. The chateau is now the Mairie, but still offers the best views over the town.
