Imagine a tiny island, astonishingly beautiful, in the center of a marine protected area. Imagine an exclusive residence on the sea: only 5 rooms and 10 privileged clients enjoying a personalized service. This piece of paradise exists and is within easy reach.

The island of Santa Maria is part of the Archipelagos of La Maddalena, only 40 minutes away from Olbia International Airport, in the North East of Sardinia. In many people?s opinion, that sea area is the most beautiful of all Sardinia: shining white or pink sand, transparent shallow waters, granite rocks e scenting flowers.

There will be a chauffer waiting for you at the airport (or a car rented at your name) that will take you to the port of Palau in 40 minutes on pleasant curvy road. A small boat will then take you to Santa Maria. There are only a dozen houses on the island, but ours is the only one transformed into a hotel. You will find large open spaces in the residence, a garden, a terrace for the meals or to relax, a fantastic silence and easy paths to walk around the island. The cooking is simple, yet excellent: fresh and local ingredients -often the fish is caught by our sailor - only season fruit and salad, good wine and home-made liquors. The main island of La Maddalena is within sight, at about 2 miles, with its shops, restaurants and an hospital.
