Great times to visit are during the city’s summer festival (throughout July and August) that celebrates music, opera, dance and street theatre in venues throughout the city or in early June during the wine fair. But in all honesty, you don’t need an event as a reason to attend. The city’s year round attractions are more than enough. Perhaps the best one is to escape for a weekend of style in a city before everyone else does.
