This is the mixture that makes the city an original and irresistible metropolis. With your private guide you view the city's highlights and delve into its history and culture. In the evening you dine at El Viejo Almacen the location, where, it is said, the Tango was born. It has also been said that only in Buenos Aires could the Tango be born. Cape Horn, a sheer, 1,300 feet promontory is where the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans merge. It was discovered in 1616 by a Dutch expedition and named for the Port of Hoorn in Holland. In the afternoon you will disembark at Wulaia Bay, once the site of one of the region's largest native settlements. The indigenous people used to carry fire on their boats to allow them to create fires when they landed. Unfortunately the native population was decimated by diseases brought by European hunters in search of wolf pelts.
