A day tour in the Alpilles to visit hotspots, vineyards and exceptional domains in Baux de Provence.
We will pick you up in Aix en Provence or Marseille in a private car with an English-speaking driver.
First stop to the village of Saint Remy de Provence to visit the famous Gallo-Roman Antiques in the archaeological site of Glanum.
Guided tour and wine tasting in a renown domain located in a remarkable vineyard. The tour is divided into three parts: a short film introducing the domain, a visit of the domain and the winery located in an old cathedral and a tasting of 3 wines accompanied with salted focaccia.
Lunch in the Alpilles (lunch not included) where you will enjoy the beautiful landscape and charm of your surroundings.
The afternoon continues with a visit to the King Rene castle in Tarascon, a beautiful edifice built by the Dukes of Anjou in 1435.
Later, enjoy a guided tour to another exceptional domain, where you will enjoy not only the natural beauty but also the extraordinary vines. The domain's vines have been planted on the slopes of two valleys leading into the Alpilles hills. The roman road, via Domitia, crosses the domain on the northern slopes of the Alpilles. We will take a guided tour of the domain, gardens and visit the cellar, to be finished off with a wine tasting.
After this wonderful day we will return you to Aix en Provence or Marseille.
Pick up in Marseille or Aix en Provence.
