Extreme Heli Ski Tour on Kamchatka Volcanoes in Russia

Being ascended to the summits of the volcanoes by helicopter, you can descent on their unique snow-whitened steep slopes. One of the most entertaining extreme skiing trips, especially very popular nowadays is a descent of the mountain with skis. The helicopter can land any volcano, from which you are able to descend. The most popular volcanoes for downhill skiing are Avatchisky (2749m), Viljutchinsky (2173m), Zhupanovsky (2900m), Kozelsky (2189m), Mutnovsky (2323m), Gorely (1826m), Aag (2310), Arik (2300m).

1st day. Arrival at the airport. Transfer to the hotel (20kms) in Petropavlovsk - Kamchatsky. Accommodation in the double rooms. Checking and preparing of skiing tackle, rest.

2nd day. Heli skiing. Flight by helicopter to Avachinsky and Kozelsky volcanoes (20 min). Avachinsky volcano is in the center of the Avachinsky group. A magnificent view on the top of Koryak volcano standing nearby is opened from the height of the bird¹s flight. Extraordinary volcanic relief amazes your imagination. From the top of Kozelsky volcano the coast of the Pacific Ocean and Avacha bay are observed. About 4 - 5 descents down the volcano slopes.

3rd day. Heli skiing. Flight by helicopter to Zhupanovsky and Dzenzur volcanoes (40 min), about 4-5 descents. Flight to the Nalychevo valley (15 min). Rest, bathing in hot springs. Spending the night in comfortable small houses.

4th day. Heli skiing. Flight to Aag, Arik, Koryaksky volcanoes (15 min). About 4-5 descents on the slopes of the volcanoes. Returning to the city, rest. Bathing in the pools with hot thermal water.

5th day. Heli skiing. Flight to the area of Vilychinsky volcano (20 min). Descents from the tops of 1000-1500 meters height in the area of Vilychinsky volcano. About 4-5 descents. Returning to the hotel.

6th day. Heli skiing. Flight to Vilyuchinsky, Mutnovsky, Gorely volcanos (25 min). About 4-5 descents. Bathing in the Vilychinsky hot springs. Returning to the recreation department, rest.

7-8th day. Reserve days in case of bad weather. These days there will be an opportunity to go on the excursion around the city and to the museums, to visit the fish market and to taste local food, to have a rest in local entertaining establishments.

9th day. Transfer to the airport. Seeing off.

The cost includes:
1. Service of the mountain guides. (the heli skiing days).
2. Transport service (bus, automobile).(the whole trip).
3. Breakfast in hotel, a lunch on the heli skiing days.
4. Visa support and registration.
5. Residence at a hotel (DBL),
6. 10 hours of flight time of the helicopter. (it is considered only during flight)

The cost does not include:
1. Purchase of alcoholic drinks, Beer, cigarettes.
2. Purchase of souvenirs.
3. Supper and dinner in city.
