Are you interested in cooking and do you want to know all the secrets to professional cooking? Then this luxury culinary tour is perfect for you. Enjoy an all-inclusive luxury cooking holiday in Andalucia, Spain, and learn all the secrets to professional cooking from nobody less than two Michelin-starred chef Martin Blunos, one of the world’s greatest chefs.

Martin Bluno's Master Class is a course aimed at keen cooks who have already advanced knowledge of cooking and beginning chefs who with to further extend their knowledge of culinary arts.

You will learn all the tips and tricks you need to be a great cook, how to get extra flavour out of food, and the knowledge to prepare and present very good dishes that meet the highest standards.

The course will push the boundaries all who attend, and give them the knowledge to prepare very good food – extremely well! A key element will be presentation skills and how to make food not only taste good, but make it look appealing too. A whole variety of dishes will be cooked and prepared (see examples in the gallery), so your skills will be acquired through practical sessions, as well as master class demonstrations by Martin too. Martin has taught chef's all over the World, and to experience one of his master classes will not only make you a far better chef, but also give you the skills to create dishes you never thought possible.

This course is perfect for chefs and budding cooks who wish to become chefs or even have a dream of opening a restaurant: Martin will share all his culinary secrets with you. He will show you how to create truly great dishes that will lift your career, enhance your menus and may even inspire you to aim for the highest accolades that your chosen profession has to offer. In a stimulating and challenging course, Martin will provide a structured programme which will cover Starters and hors d'oeuvres, main courses and entrées, sweets and desserts and those important intermediate offerings such as amuse-bouches and predesserts. Of course you will also learn about the best wines and aperitifs to accompany such fine cuisine. You will have the opportunity to hear about the very best approach to service too, hear how Martin achieved his coveted Michelin stars (which he has held for over fifteen years) and much more.

The Master Class course will climax with a chance to practice your newly learned skills by buying all the ingredients and preparing a two-course menu, and will be recognised with a presentation of photographs and your hard earned Certificate of Success, signed by Martin Blunos in this unique Master Class.

Highlights:

Two-Michelin starred gourmet dinner. On one evening Martin will prepare a two-Michelin starred gourmet dinner. You will be welcome to watch Martin 'in action' or just wait to be served. This will not only give you a wonderful experience, but you will see how a top chef goes about creating such a feast. Many guests will have never eaten in a two Michelin starred restaurant before, let alone have a chef prepare them a feast in such an intimate setting. This will be a highlight of the holiday. It goes without saying, that fine and reserva wines will compliment this gourmet dinner, along with every other dinner. Martin will also dine with you to ensure a lively and informative evening is had by all.

Real-life Market 'Buy & Cook' Challenge. On the last cooking day, Martin will take you to the local meat, fish and vegetable trade market. He will give you a tour of the market, and guidance on how to select cost-effective produce, and how substitute produce and retain quality. You will then have 45 mins to buy all the produce, for a challenging two-course menu Martin will give you. You will return and have to cook this, in a set time. This 'real-life' challenge will prove invaluable, teaching you how to make your money go further, reduce wastage, make ingredient compromises, but still maintain flavour and be true to the dish. These are the challenges restaurant's deal with daily, and will also help you make your shopping budget go further when back home. Martin will give a prize for the best-created menu, brought in on time, and under budget. Not only challenging and interactive, but great fun too!

Unique Real-life Restaurant Experience. A special feature of this course is that you will also have to cook in the professional kitchen in one of Marbella's best restaurants, La Casita, to demanding fee paying guests! The group will be split into two teams and you will have to cook and serve on one night, whilst the other team will dine, drink wine, sit back and watch your efforts. The next night the roles will be reversed and it will be you and your teams time to relax. The restaurant has an open kitchen, and also has TV screens showing kitchen action via video into the restaurant. You will not be left on your own, having the supervision of Martin and La Casita's talented head chef Lawrence, but this experience will test your skills under pressure, and give you an opportunity to experience a real live and exciting kitchen environment. This whole experience will be filmed live, and the reaction of the guests will be recorded.

If you would prefer not to join in the ‘live-restaurant’ cooking experience you can of course opt out. This event though is great fun, and gives you a unique chance to gain some very valuable experience.

You’ll be staying in one of three luxurious villas located adjacent to each other in the exclusive west Marbella estate of El Madronal. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious estates in Spain with 24-hour gated security, and breath-taking views of the coast and the mountains surrounding Marbella, yet it’s only a few minutes to Puerto Banus, the beach or central Marbella.

The villas offer top accommodation: linen is new, cotton is of the finest quality and towels fluffy. The kitchens and bathrooms are contemporary, clean and inviting. The cookware, tableware, utensils and glasses are modern and are new each year. The wireless ADSL Internet is fast, and the 40 and 50-inch HD TV’s and satellite systems are the latest. All beds have sumptuous memory foam mattresses and the finest Egyptian cooling cotton sheets, to ensure you have the perfect sleep and a wonderful holiday experience.

Please note: the prices above are based upon two-people sharing a room. A £250 supplement is applied if you choose to stay in a double or twin room on a single occupancy basis. If you are happy to share a twin room with another guest (same gender only) then this supplement will be waived.

All cooking holidays are for 8 days/7nights. The price includes all food, fine wines, course tuition, full use of the villas and all of the facilities. Plus, any excursions, or events such as wine tasting. Airport transfers, (but not flights to Malaga) are included.
