Things to do in Marrakech

Djemma el Fna is a large square in the center of the the Medina (Marrakech’s old city) and the perfect starting point for your exploration of Marrakech.
The Majorelle Gardens, now owned by designer Yves Saint Laurent, are a quiet sanctuary in the middle of the modern part of the city. The gardens house the Museum of Islamic Art and are a welcomed escape from the noisy city center.
Other sites include the Saadian Tombs in the Medina, the Palais Dar Si Said, The Ben Youssef Madrassa and Mosque and El Bahia Palace.
When to go to Marrakech
Avoid the sweltering heat in summer and plan a vacation in Marrakech during the cooler months: September through May.
