Yacutinga Lodge & Wildlife Nature Reserve. Located at 60 km. away from the spectacular Iguassu Falls this unique Lodge provides a great opportunity to explore the mysteries of the Interior Atlantic Rainforest far away of massive tourism. Comfortable accommodations and very interesting eco-tours are the base of this sustainable tourist project conducted in Argentina. Yacutinga Lodge was selected by the World Tourism Organization as one of the 60 world examples for ecotourism. (2003 and 2004). Ancient Trees, incredible number of birds and butterflies species as several endangered mammals are protected in the Yacutinga Wildlife Nature Reserve. The ecotourism activity is the economic pillar of the Yacutinga project, which includes an Environmental School for neighbour children, biological research program administrated by the Biological Station, reforestation programs, and wild-fauna re-breeding station among others. 570 hectares of deep jungle, 520 species of butterflies, 320 species of birds, more than 90 species of orchids & bromeliads, Naturalist Guides, peculiar local architecture, native meals, non-massive tourism, lectures, jungle hikes, floating trips, fireplaces & torches, are all combined during this Yacutinga Experience.
