Villa Paterno
- Profile
Via Vallombrosana, 36G Loc. Paterno
50060 Pelago, Firenze
Italy
Villa Paterno, an ex-convent of the Vallombrosian monks, was used frequently by the General Abbot and many illustrious visitors on their way to the Abbey. Having undergone various enlargements and restorations down the centuries the recently refurbished villa is now a splendid private residence extending a warm and hospitable welcome to its present day visitors.
The villa is surrounded by 5,000 sq. meters of private grounds incorporating vine-covered pergolas (the owners also make their own wine!), olive groves and a wonderfully productive fruit and vegetable garden, the produce from which is generously provided for the use of the guests.
Whatever your needs the historic, aristocratic, warm and gracious Villa Paterno is guaranteed to provide you with a genuine, authentic and unforgettable experience of the best of Tuscan living.
