Villa Ariete is a beautifully restored farmhouse with a designer swimming pool. The Villa sleeps 17 people and can also be divided into three self-contained apartments sleeping 4, 6 and 7.
Set within the hills of Umbria the Villa has panoramic views across the Tiber valley to Assisi and Perugia. There is also a fantastic view of the hilltop castle in the local village, Migliano. The castle houses a fantastic local restaurant famous for its Wild Boar and Truffle delicacies.
A stay at the Villa provides the perfect base for trips throughout Umbria and Tuscany to visit the beautiful hilltop towns such as Todi, Perugia, Siena, Montefalco and Orvieto. There are also fantastic wineries and a wine museum in nearby Torigiano, as well as the famous Cathedral of Saint Francis at Assisi which is a 45 minute drive away. We are also close to the ceramic capital of Italy, Deruta, where you can wander around the many shops selling hand painted ceramics. Lake Trasimeno is a short drive away and provides a fantastic day out with trips to the islands on the lake or a visit to the castle on the lake at Castigliano.
