The Masters Lodge is a small luxury lodge positioned atop Bluff Hill in the Art Deco City of Napier with spectacular views over the blue South Pacific Ocean, Cape Kidnappers, the Art Deco City of Napier and the Marine Parade.
This historic landmark residence was designed in the famed 'Australasian Villa' style of the late 1800s and subsequently expanded and retro-fitted in the 'Art Deco' style of the 1930s by one of New Zealand's most wealthy entrepreneurs, Johann Gerhard Husheer, Founder and Director of The National Tobacco Company of New Zealand, and Famed New Zealand Architect Louis Hay who also designed Napier’s most famous Art Deco building – The National Tobacco Company Building.
The Lodge has only 2 Guest Suites, each with ensuite Bath. Each Suite enjoys panoramic views of the South Pacific Ocean, Cape Kidnappers, Te Mata Peak and the Marine Parade. The Beach, Shops, Restaurants, Museums and Central Business District are all within a 10 minute walk of the Lodge.
