Maca Bana is a subtle cocktail of private villa living and boutique hotel charm, a solar-powered luxury getaway on the island of Grenada. Almost secretly perched on a hilltop above white sand Magazine Beach, each of our seven sumptuous ‘banas’ enjoys gorgeous sea view and features a fully equipped kitchen and a private massaging hot tub.
Set amidst tropical gardens with lily and terrapin ponds, waterfall feature and infinity-edge swimming-pool, nature takes centre stage inside and out, as each villa is individually themed after the surrounding fruit trees and 111 solar panels provide for our guests’ electrical needs. Steps away, right on the beach, sits our cosmopolitan Aquarium Restaurant, an island favourite by locals and visitors alike.
Unwind and indulge in relaxing spa treatments or private yoga / pilates classes in the privacy of your villa or on its sun-kissed balcony. Order a chef from The Aquarium to your villa to pamper you with a gourmet meal or learn some of his well-kept and often spicy culinary secrets in an individual cookery lesson. A honeymooner’s paradise and the ultimate romantic setting for divinely decadent or simply barefoot beach weddings.
