Perched on Sugar Hill, in the Southwest corner of Carriacou, 15 minutes from Lauriston airport, ‘Las Tortugas’ embraces your tired and jet-lagged mind and body with her warm, clay tiled roofs and bright white walls.
Your bare feet are cool against the terra cotta tiles that carry you through open arches onto the large covered verandah and sundeck. You gratefully reach for a glass of ice cold rum punch, and as the drops from the frosty glass cool your fingers, you slip into a beckoning lounge chair, sipping and sighing at the view of Sandy Island, Union Island and the beautiful white sand and lapping waters of Paradise Beach just steps away.
