Just as waves of reports hit last month that luxury chalet operator Descent International had fallen into voluntary liquidation, Consensio Holidays has taken the reigns of the undeniably allluring portfolio of luxury chalet rentals.

Purple Ski, the Méribel luxury-chalet specialist, has added two of the resorts finest, luxury chalets to its portfolio – following the unfortunate collapse of Descent International and Scott Dunn’s withdrawal from the resort – and has subsequently become Méribel’s premier luxury chalet operator.

This past week saw the fall of one of the industry's leading luxury tour operators: Descent International. The company which offered high-end luxury chalets and complete ski holidays in France and Switzerland has announced that it has gone into voluntary liquidation.
