Vintage Refinement and Elegance: the Royal Steam Train

Built in 1928 in Milano by Ernesto Breda, the Romanian princely train ROYAL has carriages finished with materials from the most expensive such as:  Cordoba leather, for the saloons chairs and armchairs, nut wood and rose wood veneer for the tables and some panels within the saloons of the carriages;  Murano glass and Bohemia crystal were used for the lamps from the carriages as well as for the mirrors inside the royal saloon;  Statuettes and decorative objects, which can be found within the saloons of the carriages composing the Royal Train, were made of Greece alabaster. The Royal Train preserves the original appearance and elegance of those times and although it is a steam train its running speed varies from 30 to 242 kilometers per hour. The luxurious dinning saloon was the quiet witness of the last lunch on the territory of Romania the King Michael I had while leaving the country in January 1948. This train was used for getting in the Northern Transylvania for hunting laps by Nikita Hrusciov and Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej in 1955, and then by the former communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu and his hunting guests of honor: Iosip Broz Tito (1967), Todor Jivkov (1976), Leonid Brejnev (1976) and Erik Honecker (1977). In 1975, the president of the United States, Gerard Ford and the state secretary Henry Kisinger traveled together with Nicolae Ceausescu to Sinaia for the lunch at the Peles Castle where THE CLAUSE OF THE MOST FAVORED NATION was settled to be granted to Romania. Nowadays you have the great opportunity to be officially welcomed by a brass band military march and staff dressed in epoch costumes before redoing the route from Bucharest to Sinaia, signing contracts in the dinning saloon, shooting your personal or corporate videos or hosting events from 19 to 88 guests in its fully furnished carriages.
