Snow White – Preljocaj Ballet, France at Bucharest National Theatre

SNOW WHITE, the last creation (2008) of the company Ballet Preljocaj, France, is a grandiose show of contemporary dance, with a huge audience and media success at Lyon Dance Biennial and then in Paris, in October. In Bucharest it can be seen in 3 performances on November 28, 29 and 30. Creator of some plays taken over by companies such as: National Opera Ballet from Paris, Scala from Milano or New York City Ballet, the renowned French choreographer of Albanese origin Angelin Preljocaj – honored with the Great National Prize of Dance of the Culture Ministry of France – reunited for this project all his 26 dancers of his company in an impressive visual show, on the most beautiful symphonic pages of Gustav Mahler. The costumes are created by the célèbre designer Jean-Paul Gaultier, and the scenery bears the signature of Thierry Proust.
